George can’t wait to boogy with you at the Territory Taste Festival! The 2017 Territory Taste Festival will take over the entire Darwin Convention Centre and caters for all foodies, kiddies, tourists and… the general public. George can’t wait to sample some of the ripper food and drinks produced by Northern Territory producers, farmers, growers and bush harvest experts! You beauty!
The Territory Taste Festival is family friendly, with entry to the festival for children under 12 free. You’ll be able to find George and mates performing twice on Saturday and three times on Sunday directly out the front of the Convention Centre. Come and say g’day! The focus of the performance is on George’s latest book, ‘George the Farmer, Ruby and the Dairy Dilemma’. George and Ruby visit a nearby robotic dairy to assess the pasture and tackle a milk supply problem. After the reading, George gets down to a few of his beaut farm songs! It will be a ripper! The session runs for half an hour and includes a few beaut giveaways.
Along with George performing, there will be over 40 stallholders and retailers – including a variety of food and wine stalls, which will be able to sell and offer tasting samples to over 15,000 anticipated foodies. Serious foodies and home cooks can sink their teeth into special master classes and demonstrations. Sounds like there’s something for everyone!
George can’t wait to see you there!
